Cool intro! I like the piano, but try to fade the piano and the melody (also the piano :P) seperately in :) so you don't start with a chaotic song.

I like the drop, but where is the bassline? the hi-hat sound to loud in my opinion, actually it sounds shrill (maybe an EQ or master problem?)

And when you make a second melody, stay with the chords (maybe another sound) and make the melody from scratch, the it sounds more unique and people will more likely listen to your songs

I don't like the genre, but I will try to make a educative review :)
Why do you use the default drums? :? You can use them, but then you have to mess a lot with them to sound good, download some (vegeance) packs) and the intro...? try to fade most of the sound in, it will sound a lot better! did you even thought about mastering? 2:30-2:47 cool solo melody, but after that.. a random piano? :P It sounds nice with the reverb, but it's a little bit off the genre, but i like it that you try something new :)

Thank you very much for this review!
I'm glad to see some advices to get better! I take in consideration what you said and I'll try to do better on my next composition!
Thanks a lot!! :D

Very nice song!! But the kick wasn't really noticeable, so use a little bit soundgoodizer or someting like that, and.. the saxaphone! It's perfect with this chill song, love it! :D

5TanLey responds:

I´m glad you enjoyed it :)

Nice song! But did you even think about mastering? It's very chaotic, when you master it you should be fine :)

SiliconBassist responds:

Thanks for the feedback! In what way is it chaotic? There are a lot of parts. Should I tweak the EQ of each track a bit more for extra clarity? You can PM me if you wish to continue the conversation.

You should take a look at the velocity, so how hard the piano is pressed. That makes it more realistic, and try to master the track so it doesn't get hasty (I don't know if I say this the right way :P)

DivineHalcyon responds:

Thank you for this suggestion, I'll figure out how to remaster this piano cover and how to improve future productions.
EDIT: Made it a lot better, still trying to figure out what's causing the excessive pedal effect, although not sure what's making it sound like so.
EDIT #2: Fixed reverb, now everything should sound good.

Very calm :) It's not my style but I like it, the mastering is very good but the kick was a little bit to high, so I couldn't really hear it good

pitbulljones responds:

Thnak you mate for the review. It is just a work in progress at the moment, looking to add, guitars, b section, some horns. I will add depth on the kick, but on my set up it is bang on. (Roland octa capture, with muadio bx5d). thanks again.

The intro is to long... It's nice but to long, and try to download some sample packs for nice drums and give the mastering some attention :)

Is this for real? :P Would you like to do some vocals for my new track?

CallmeFazbear responds:

Why did you just vote 2 if you like the song?

It's just a chaos... try to give the mastering some more attention and then you should be fine :)

Zazzy responds:

It was just a quick little thing, though if I do ever try to make an actual release I wouldn't every let it go out with this kind of sounding EQing. I basically did whatever EQing I could before it got too tedious, since all this was done in about two hours. Though I will say, even like this the mastering is above average for NG in general.

DON'T USE THE DEFAULT DRUMS!! The biggest mistake you can ever make, download some Vengeance packs :) The melody is very nice btw and I like the bassline and the vocals

73Quantum responds:

Drums were programmed by me then placed through a vocoder filter to make them more original then a love filter for effect. Thanks for your comments, they are greatly appreciated. :)
